Bunny Stream and Patreon: direct embeds and RedShoreMedia

Bunny already offers a direct Patreon integration. RedShoreMedia is an optional workspace and player layer, useful when you want consistent links and tools across compatible sources.

The direct Bunny route

Bunny’s official Patreon guide describes its Direct Play URL and Patreon’s Embed URL workflow. If that meets your needs, you can use the direct route. RedShoreMedia is not the only way to put Bunny video in a Patreon post.

When RedShoreMedia adds value

Use a shared library, consistent provider links, player branding options, playback analytics and applicable workspace features across your own server and compatible hosts. Select a plan for those tools; Bunny storage and delivery remain a separate cost.

Add a compatible Bunny source

For RedShoreMedia’s direct-source workflow, obtain an HTTPS HLS .m3u8 or compatible media file URL, not the Bunny management dashboard or an HTML player page. Check the browser preview, add a title/poster and save. Do not confuse Bunny’s provider Direct Play URL with the raw media URL accepted by this particular form.

Review access settings

Bunny token, referrer, regional or other source restrictions can prevent playback. HLS child resources and keys need the same valid access and CORS configuration as the manifest. A static expiring URL needs renewal by the source owner; RedShoreMedia cannot extend its validity.

Publish and maintain

Paste the saved RedShoreMedia share link into Patreon’s external-video field. Keep the source available and use Edit source if the location of the same video changes. Test the actual post and audience setting before sharing widely.

Try your source before publishing.
