There is no universal cheapest video host. One creator needs an easy upload interface; another already owns storage and wants control over delivery. Compare your library, minutes actually delivered, audience regions, editing needs and technical time. A headline monthly price alone cannot answer those questions.

Prices below were checked on 29 October 2026, in USD before taxes, currency conversion, optional services and individual contracts. Vimeo’s public pages show Starter at $12, Standard at $25 and Advanced at $75 per month on annual billing. These advertised figures are per-seat monthly equivalents for annual offers; actual billing and offers can differ. Before relying on a price, check the actual checkout, seats, bandwidth and storage allocation before purchase. Public Vimeo pages can describe different plan generations, so do not assume an old account receives new-account limits.

Understand usage-based billing

Bunny Stream lists storage from $0.01 per GB and delivery from $0.005 per GB, with a $1 monthly minimum. The lowest delivery rate refers to a particular network tier. Standard delivery in Europe and North America is listed at $0.01 per GB; other regions and storage replication change the calculation. Ordinary encoding and its player are included, but do not assume every premium codec or optional protection feature is free.

Cloudflare Stream charges $5 per month for each prepaid block of 1,000 stored minutes and $1 per 1,000 delivered minutes. Encoding and ingress are included. This model is easy to estimate from viewing time, while a per-GB model depends strongly on delivered bitrate. Buffered segments can contribute to delivery even if a viewer stops before watching them.

Work out the Patreon workflow

Vimeo offers a Patreon integration. Bunny documents using its own Direct Play URL in Patreon, so a RedShoreMedia account is not mandatory for Bunny publication. If that direct workflow provides everything you need, evaluate it on its own merits. Cloudflare customers can connect their own Stream account to RedShoreMedia for imports and workspace tools.

RedShoreMedia is an optional additional software layer: Free allows 25 saved videos, Creator is $9 per month and Business $29 before prepaid-term discounts. Your chosen host still bills storage and delivery separately. For example, paying for Creator does not purchase Cloudflare minutes or Bunny traffic. Compare a host-only route with host plus RedShoreMedia, rather than presenting the extra service as unavoidable.

Decide with one real video

Test upload or source setup, subtitles if needed, sound, seeking and mobile playback. Check how you will change an expired source, export your files and respond to increased traffic. Your best option is the one that fits your content, operating skills and complete bill. For files already on your own server, compatible direct sources can avoid a second copy, but the server’s bandwidth, backups and maintenance remain your responsibility.
